CANCELLATION

THE RETREAT does not offer refunds of any kind for THE RETREAT deposit. Exceptions cannot be made for any reason, including weather, injury/illness, or personal emergencies. We do not offer refunds or credit for a guest who fails to attend, arrives late, or leaves early.

Naturally, no one books with the intention of canceling or postponing THE RETREAT, but unexpected things do happen, so please consider purchasing travel insurance.

If an emergency does arise or there is another reason you must cancel your attendance at THE RETREAT, you are welcome to transfer your ticket to another female founder. Please note that THE RETREAT is not responsible for finding a replacement attendee; as the original ticket holder, you are solely responsible for arranging the transfer and notifying THE RETREAT of the new attendee’s information.

If THE RETREAT must cancel a booked retreat date for any reason, you may transfer your full retreat payment to another retreat. THE RETREAT is not responsible for your expenses incurred in preparation for any canceled retreat, such as airline tickets, loss of work, and/or other costs associated with preparing for your trip.

TRAVEL

All travel arrangements are your responsibility and at your own cost. THE RETREAT shall not be held liable for any consequences arising from delays or cancellations in any of the companies you may have made arrangements with, or for any irregularities in your documentation required for travel.

PHOTOGRAPHY

By registering for THE RETREAT, I give my consent to have my picture taken in film and video recording, and for these images to be used in THE RETREAT promotional activities.

HEALTH

I understand that as with any physical activity, the risk of injury, even serious or disabling, is always present and cannot be entirely eliminated. If I experience any pain or discomfort, I will listen to my body, discontinue the activity, and ask for support from an instructor. I assume full responsibility for any and all damages which may incur through participation in these activities.

By signing, I affirm that a licensed physician has verified my good health and physical/mental condition to participate in such a fitness and/or spiritual program. In addition, I will make the instructor aware of any medical or psychological conditions or physical limitations that may affect my participation before class. If I am pregnant, become pregnant, or I am post-natal or post-surgical, my signature verifies that I have my physician's approval to participate. I also affirm that I alone am responsible to decide whether to join movement classes and participation is at my own risk.

I further agree that, if I engage in any physical exercise or activity with, receive any kind of bodywork or treatment from, use any equipment owned by, or heed any advice offered by THE RETREAT (including their affiliates, bodyworkers, guest teachers, chefs, and staff), I do so at my own risk. I further acknowledge that if while hiking or exploring the land I encounter uneven terrain, I do so at my own risk. If I choose to leave THE RETREAT property on my own terms, THE RETREAT is not liable for any mishaps or injury that may occur. I agree to assume all risk of injury, illness, damage or loss to myself or my property that might result from my participation in THE RETREAT, including any loss or theft of any personal property.

RELEASE OF LIABILITY

I hereby agree to irrevocably release and waive my right to bring any legal action or assert any claims against Rachel and Company, LLC, Shira Gill, THE RETREAT or the owners of the property at which THE RETREAT is held.

I have read and fully understand and agree to the above terms. I am signing this agreement voluntarily and recognize that my signature serves as complete and unconditional release of all liability to the greatest extent allowed by law in the State of Maryland and California.
